Welcome to the Gondola Character Database
This is your comprehensive database on all 100+ playable classes in the Competitive Class-Based Modification!
What is Gondola?
The Gondola Patch is a mod of Class Based Modification (aka CBM or "Core"), which is a mod of Mega Man: 8-Bit Deathmatch (aka MM8BDM, or just 8BDM), which is a mod of DOOM 2's multiplayer Zandronum port.
Created as a patch to the original Core mod, Gondola was built to create a variant of the Core game with a more competitive focus, changes ranging from simple buffs and nerfs to more drastic changes to the original Core mod's cast and rulesets. Since the patch's fruition, competitions have arisen to test players in robot-on-robot combat, with each class having a diverse playstyle and moveset that compliment and counter eachother.
This wiki is specifically based on the most recent official version, with character/weapon data and strategies based on the latest stable and official version released. Alternative patches are not considered, and unfinished characters are not listed in the navbox (though, they are planned to have pages either way.)
The guide is also going to be largely based on 3v3 Private matches, as to keep consistent theming. Do note, however, that public server matches and their importance to the scene is still considered when writing the guides.
The current observed version is Gondola Patch version 2.6.2h! Some details may exist for the upcoming 2.7 patch! Stay tuned!

Wanna help with the pages? Look on the NavBox below and open up a page with a red link, and fill it out using the style guide above! Also, some pages are set up, but are missing information, whether it's a minor detail like a charge time, or significant parts of the page. For that, check out the Incomplete Class Pages section!
You don't have to be "good" at making wiki pages either! As long as you somewhat follow the style guide, any and all help is appreciated! Katze can't do all the work y'know!
